00017: Props
Day 7, seven items
I have come to realize that many of the stuff I’m letting go could become theatrical props. Of course I think this way because I direct plays, because I’m a playwright, because I’m in charge of a theatre department, and because I am a theatre artist.
As I examine these trinkets, at least three of them could become props. The two pig puppets and the flask. Why do I have them? Good question. I never used them but I have them. In fact, the two pig hand puppets still in their original unsealed bags. So I don’t know why I have them; I just have them. But now they are going to become props. The other items will be given away to my niece (the child-mandalorian stuff) and to my brother in law, (the need brace).
I have to admit that I feel bad for giving away “The Child-Mandalorian” items. One I bought no less than a month ago and the other two were given to me by my neighbor. My neighbor will read this blog and see the items being discarded. Rest assure, neighbor, they are going to someone who loves “The Child-Mandalorian” as much I do. She has been collecting such trinkets for a while and she will love these small tokens. I have spoken (Sorry, couldn’t help myself!) #carlosmanuelspeaksthetruth
